1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using UPI Alert ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. UPI Alert is developed and operated by Martai (martai.in). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
UPI Alert is a mobile application that reads UPI payment notifications and provides instant voice alerts. The App also offers transaction history, income analytics, and AI-powered business insights. UPI Alert is not a payment gateway or financial institution — it reads notifications from existing UPI payment apps on your device.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to use UPI Alert. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the authority to agree to these terms.
4. User Accounts & Plans
Free Plan: UPI Alert is available for free with core features including voice alerts, multi-UPI support, and basic transaction history. No payment or account creation is required for the free plan.
Pro Plan: The Pro plan (₹99/month) unlocks AI income analytics, smart predictions, report exports, and priority support. Subscriptions are managed through the Google Play Store and are subject to Google's billing terms.
Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the Google Play Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- • Use the App for fraudulent or illegal activities
- • Attempt to bypass security measures or encryption
- • Distribute, sublicense, or resell the App
- • Use the App in any way that could damage or overburden our infrastructure
6. Intellectual Property
UPI Alert, its logo, design, and all related content are the intellectual property of Martai. UPI app logos and names (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.) are trademarks of their respective owners. UPI Alert is not affiliated with or endorsed by any UPI payment platform.
7. Privacy & Data
Your use of UPI Alert is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your data — transactions are stored locally with encryption and we never sell your personal information.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
UPI Alert is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for 99.9% uptime and accuracy, we do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. UPI Alert reads payment notifications — the accuracy of payment information depends on the source UPI application. Always verify important transactions through your bank or UPI app.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Martai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. This includes but is not limited to missed payment notifications, incorrect amount announcements, or data loss. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the preceding 12 months.
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
